How We Build
With Harrison, Walker &
Harper, the owner has a choice of construction delivery processes. We will help
you select the one best suited to your particular project.
As General Contractor, Harrison, Walker & Harper concentrates on providing value for your construction dollar. We deliver a quality project on time and within budget.
The Design/Build method of construction saves time, money and frustration by allowing the contractor to provide both design and construction services. This eliminates the need for the owner to have separate contracts with the A/E and the contractor, thereby simplifying the process and reducing costs. The contractor is the single-source of responsibility for cost, quality, schedule and performance.
Our Construction
Management process
concentrates on working as a team with the owner and the design team. Working as
a team, we provide accurate cost information based on the most current documents
and have a full understanding of the scope of work. The function of a
construction manager is to work on behalf of the Owner to complete his project
with the plans and specifications given.
We can Self-Perform our work. This makes us uniquely prepared to provide solutions to your construction problems. We can provide many areas of work on a typical project that our competitors choose to subcontract. This gives us greater control over critical phases of a project such as cost and scheduling.
Safety
Harrison, Walker & Harper maintains one of the finest safety records in the industry with ongoing training programs, employee incentives and regular site inspections. We work closely with professional organizations, such as the Associated General Contractors of America, to keep abreast of the latest construction safety technology and regulations. Our safety efforts are rewarded by substantial insurance savings which are passed on to our clients.
Awards
Numerous industry
awards have been earned by Harrison, Walker & Harper including the AGC of
America National "Build America" Award for the renovation of the
Campbell Soup Servery in Paris, Texas. Some consider this award to be the
"Oscar" of the construction industry.
